THIS IS NOT THE BARN YOU SEEK

There is a particular barn in Grand Teton National Park that is widely photographed and I figured that I wanted to have my own crack at it. The photographic Web site Flickr calls the Thomas Alma (T.A.) Moulton Barn the most photographed barn in the world – but who knew that there are two Moulton Barns? I did manage to get the correct one, but Mr. T.A. Moulton had a brother John who settled very nearby and also built a barn. John’s barn is beautifully framed against the Tetons, but it is not THE barn.  I have seen a number of Web links that have the barns reversed.  Imagine traveling around the world to get a picture of THE barn and then coming away with the wrong one …

NOT THE BARN!!
