Our Story
How We Got Here
What began as a love of photography and travel gradually grew into something much deeper. After experiencing Tanzania for ourselves, we formed a close friendship with Arnold Makinda — guide, naturalist, educator, and founder of Instinct Tours Tanzania Safaris.
As the years went on, we found ourselves helping friends, fellow travelers, and future guests understand what safari life is really like: the rhythm of the days, the seasons, the route, the lodges, the packing, the flights, the wildlife, and the joy of being there.
Today, this part of our website is where we share that personal perspective. It is not a replacement for the official Instinct Tours website, but rather a welcoming gateway into the experience from people who know the journey firsthand.
