We finally made it to the top of Table Mountain, which is the iconic landmark that rises 1,000 meters above Cape Town. As mentioned in a previous blog post, gale force winds prevented us from ascending the mountain yesterday, but today the weather was absolutely perfect. We heard that the queue can be four hours long, but we had tickets in hand before we arrived and it was just a 20-minute wait. Here are just a few scenes from our visit. Apparently, the thing to do is cross over the barrier and sit or stand on the edge of the cliff.
