BEST OF THE TETONS

Marcy was researching the walking distance to the famous Moulton Barns and came across Mike Jackson’s Best of the Tetons Photo Tours website (https://bestofthetetonsphototours.com).  We gave Mike a call and decided to book a day with him.   I wish I had to words to describe how delighted we were with Mike and his services.   Sure, Mike took us to some great spots and helped us get shots, but the extras he gave us were wonderful.   We met Mike before dawn and he had already been to a local deli to pick up fresh sandwiches, baked goods, snacks and other amenities.  With the Covid situation, we sync’d our phones to the car systems and as we followed him, we just talked like we were together.  Mike gave us a MasterClass-level one-on-one on tripod setup techniques, image framing and composition, post-processing and many other invaluable nuggets.  Mike had thought of everything to make our experience worthwhile.  But the clincher was that Mike knew that the wildlife lens I was using was not that sharp so he graciously offered me the use of his beautiful Sigma 60-600 lens.  (Without which I would not have gotten the bison headshot below.) Without further ado, here are some images from yesterday’s shoot.
