ROLLING UP THE SIDEWALKS

Estes Park, Colorado January Evening

We noticed the nice winter lighting when we arrived in Estes Park and determined to get out one evening or early morning to try and get some nightlight images.  However, it was either too cold, too snowy or we were just too tired to get out. I figured it was now or never, and aside from that, the evening temperatures were mild tonight. Marcy wasn’t too keen on getting out, but she did anyway after some coaxing. I’m sorry that I dragged her downtown because we were disappointed in the results. I had visions of something great, but this is about the best we could do. I will say that I was able to stand in the middle of downtown at the junction of US Highways 34 and 36 without a car in any direction and snap a number of ten-second exposures.
