Day five of our river cruise finds us at Passau, Germany where the Inn and Ilz Rivers join the Danube. Passau has a lovely skyline featuring the onion domes and clock tower of St. Stephens Cathedral. Churches on this site date to the year 730 and the current 1688 baroque

Beautiful Danube Blue Hour
The sun has just dropped below the horizon along the Danube, and we enjoy the melancholy blue light of dusk. We’ve had some lovely evenings here , but last night was particularly nice. There are no particularly quaint church steeples to photograph at this instant, just a very placid scene
